Event: Mayor Tony Perry and the Township Committee proclaimed April 30, 2022 as Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Awareness Day in honor of Kathryn Ann (Katie) McCarthy.
Katie's loved ones participated in a volunteer cleanup at Ideal Beach last weekend to celebrate her life and raise awareness for both PH and their Belford-based nonprofit sMiles for Katie.
Mayor Perry was honored to recognize Katie in this way and also proclaim April 30, 2022 as Katie McCarthy Day in Middletown Township.
